Sorry, but I feel like a lot of people dump on the Rockets for performances in the past, but this is a new group and old circumstances don't always apply. This is easily the best team that CP3, Harden and MDA have ever been a part of. If they don't make the WCF, then we have the right to criticize them for not accomplishing what was expected of them. But until they do that, I do find it tiring to see pot shots taken at them for past failures. Those past ordeals came under different times and factors that don't apply this year.

It is. I had a hard time reading the tone of that question. Honestly, the WCF is the baseline for expectations with the Rockets right now. I'd go a step further and say that anything short of a game 6 in the WCF would be a disappointment. A lot of what happens depends on the circumstances. I mean, how did they lose? Does CP3 or Harden get hurt? 
 
So Morey has a big job this summer. Does he commit to CP3 for big dollars on the end of his career for a 2-3 year window? Similarly, do they commit to a core 3 of Harden/CP3/Capela? OR do they cast aside Capela, trade other key pieces, and make a run at LeBron? Heck, if the Rockets get knocked out in the 2nd round, maybe CP3 decides he has made enough money and goes somewhere else he thinks he can get his ring. There's a lot of things that could happen. 
 
Personally, I would like to see the Rockets commit to Harden/CP3/Capela. Morey however does not like to do that. He likes pieces that are easy to flip and he loves to re-tool. The problem is that I think he's gonna have to put his foot down and commit to something this Summer. It will be interesting to see what he does. What I dont want to happen is see Capela cast away for the just hopes of LeBron to see BronBron stay in Cleveland or go to LA. We did that with Parsons years ago with the whole Bosh fiasco, and it worked out in the end but I think we just got lucky there. Capela is a stud and is only getting better.
