Jumping to conclusions on a 20 year old doesnt seem smart

jimmy butler looked mediocre for his first three seasons and now hes an all star

some players develop later than others. monk has the scoring ability to be really good in the future

but of note, i dont know how hes been used (@dez?) but he might not be used to his strengths in Charlotte. He didnt seem like an iso threat but rather a catch-and-shoot player with some P&R potential. but i havent watched him at all this year so im not gonna say hes a bust or something

You shouldn't be able to do that at 7'2" 300. If he's healthy there's not a player I'd rather build around right now

There are more blatant homer opinions, like believing the Warriors have no shot to beat Houston

it has nothing to do with me being a homer. ive said from the draft scouting time, i think tatum could develop into a melo type of scorer, which i think is better than anything ingram could develop into. ingram can be a good scorer and great defender, but i don't think he'll ever be a great scorer while i think tatum can be a great scorer and a good defender

I dont think tatum will reach that peak, not without bulking up and taking smarter shots, but quit fucking calling me a homer and then saying the warriors shouldnt be favored over houston.

Like, Tatum's pull up midrange game is already really good, and looks of quality like elite scorers have. His ability to finish is also really good, and if he bulked up he'd be significantly better. His skill set would let him be a really good post scorer too, but he's way too frail right now to even let Brad try (and its not a position thing, he lets Smart and Jaylen post up but not Tatum)

If Tatum reaches his full peak, he will be better than Ingram. That said, I don't think he will reach his full peak, especially if this whole new baby momma situation throws him off

tatum is going to bulk up this summer. he has the body to hold the muscle. his shot is already better than was it was during the draft process so that'll get better too.

hes ahead of where ingram was at this point and will likely keep at that pace.
