with tatum its all gonna be how his body fills out. he's already 6'9" at worst and I can see him hit 6'11" or 7'

if he gets stronger, he could def have a melo type of game. he already shows great offensive post technique, his shooting numbers are very good for a 19 year old, and he'll be able to expand on an already surprisingly good finishing ability when he gets stronger
Melo is a solid comparison but Melo was one of the best pure scorers the league has ever seen and i dont think Tatum can be on that level. Tatums defense is more promising so thats a plus. Similar to Pierces, not great but not trash like Melos

Melo was pretty clutch tho, and tatum showing some flashes of clutchness so in that regard they’re similar too

but is miami that much less talented than the bucks or pistons? they're all around the same level imo. its just the wizards sucking rn thats pushing miami to the 4 seed.
Bucks do have a star tho, plus Bledsoe, middleton etc

Pistons prolly pretty even but id still take alot of those Piston players over what the heat have

Stevens is coy this isn't even up for debate
Yea prolly not a debate but if Heat get the 4th seed Eric should atleast be in the conversation

Doc has always been overrated to me. Kg pierce and ray got him that ring and people fell in love with him. Hes not good

Thibs got these Wolves on the right track. Got us to a ECF and 60+ wins with rose noah and just good supporting cast. Hes good

Kerr took a 51 win team, swapped the starting PFs, and won the title as a 67 win team. His experience as an off-ball shooter for Jordan elevated the team's entire mentality, where instead of running an offense that got David Lee 14 shots attempts per game, he focused on getting that off-ball guard in Steph and Klay open for looks.

The only reason to not put Kerr in the Top 5 is because of how well Walton did as the interim coach, but they were running Kerr's offense. He was a shooting guard who spent the best of his career finding ways for catch-and-shoot three point looks off of screens and ball movement, and incorporated that concept for the two guys on the floor who were even better pure shooters than he was.

He's definitely a Top 5 coach

Doc was fired if Boston got the #1 or #2 pick in the '07 Draft. He's just lucky we fell to #5

Celtics making the finals would be some legendary stuff tho haha

Imagine if Kyrie beats the Cavs

Would be fun to read bncs and mexis posts about kyrie if that happened
I'll give him credit if he plays well

Thibs doesn't deserve to be in that conversation until he figures the minutes thing out

But i thought the narrative was that he cant win without Lebron. He’d be winning in that scenario

Whats do you consider playing well tho, is he not playing well now?

Not the past few weeks he hasn't. That was before he went to one of the best defensive teams in the league with a top 2 coach

Very small sample size but looking like IT made Cavs worse

10 more games until its settled that Celtics won the trade big time(for the non believers)
