Memphis fuccn up..
Their window closed anyway, time for them to blow it up and bring it some assets. Lowkey had a good run considering they’re a small market and shit

Word on the street is that he’s looked completely disinterested the last 10 or so games, playing half ass, just taking jumpers, not rebounding so i think thats his way of letting them know he wants out, so im sure he’s not completely shocked he got benched. Probably happy he did so now some trade talks could start

i'd be iffy on that. og might be their best prospect since deebo.

marc would look really good with toronto though. but i don't really think that's enough to beat cleveland.

Depends which Lowry showed up. I think you guys would very much be a huge threat to the Cavs. Marc would help that offense so much with his passing and not to mention his defense is elite. Real contender for the finals imo

You gotta also remember that once Lowry and Demar are done, Raptors are back to being nothing. So feel like you have to capitalize on an opportunity like that to really contend while you guys still have those two

with how well masai has drafted, i wouldnt really be that worried when the core guys are gone.

Overall playoff stats dont really matter, not what i was referring to when i said Harden chokes. He chokes in the most important games and on the biggest stage. Has even disappeared and given up(last year game 6 vs the Spurs and against the Clippers in 2015 but his teammates came thru). The big reason that happens because refs swallow their whistles in big games, the game becomes way more physical and Harden cant sell his flopping around anymore. He cant get to the FT line and thats his bread and butter. He baits for fouls most of the time instead of playing basketball and thats whats annoying about his game. Now, back to big/elimination games.

2012 finals, he was a very important piece of that team and this is where him disappearing all started. Russ and KD showed up in the finals while Harden shit the bed when they needed his scoring so much off the bench since the games were extremely close and he just disappeared in the biggest games 3 and 4 at home.

Game 3, 34 mins 2-10 FG for 8 points in a 6 point loss at home. (KD 25 on 11-19, Russ 21 on 9-18. Low scoring game, only 85 by OKC, needed Harden big time)

Game 4, 38 minutes 2-10 FG for 6 points in a 6 point loss at home in the biggest game where the series could have been tied at 2-2. (KD 28 points on 9-19 FGs, Russ 43 points on 20-32 FGs)

Overall shooting 36% for 6 nba final games

2013 Rockets vs Thunder

Game 1, 6-19FGs -28 on the court

Game 4, 4-12FGs with NBA record 10 turnovers (teammates came thru for him especially Parsons and rockets won the first game of the series)

Game 6 to make the series 3-3, brighest lights, Harden with a 7-24 game from the field and Rockets going home

2015 2nd round Rockets v Clippers we all remember this. Had a solid series, but here comes game 6, down 3-2 elimination game and Harden 5-20FGs -20 on court. Got benched then Dwight Howard, Josh Smith and company came back from down 19 points to win it in that crazy 4th quarter. Played 28 minutes that game, benched the entire 4th quarter.

2015 Conference Finals Rockets vs Golden State

Game 2 down by 1, has a mental breakdown and made a huge turnover in final seconds. Could have won the game.

Game 3, 3-16FGs -31on the court(absolutely gross, just straight not giving a fuck anymore because its a tough series and he folds in the moments he thinks he cant do it)

Game 5 2-11FGs and broke his own NBA record with 12 turnovers. DISAPPEARED, NOT GAVE A FUCK, GAVE UP.

And the most famous one, most recent one

2017 Rockets v Spurs
Game 5 , 9 turnovers Spurs with no Parker, didn't score for a 6 minute stretch in the 4th. Simply should have took over in the pivotal game of the series, instead turns the ball over twice in the last minute and a half in a nail bitter.

And the 2nd biggest disappearance act of all time by a superstar at home, to take the series to game 7, WITH NO KAWHI LEONARD, NO TONY PARKER, and gets torched by 39 points and simply doesnt give a fuck all game.

Game 6 2-11 FGs 6 turnovers and fouled out.

And about OKC, i dont want to make any conclusions, i dont want to talk about what might happen, what might not, if their chemistry will work out or not, i dont know and im just going to wait and see. Just pointed out that laughing at them losing a bad game to the Mavs this early in the season is a lil off. If they’re losing games like this around the all star game, go all in and laugh all you want, bc then itll be actually laughable and ill be laughing with you, trust me. But as of right now, lets stay patient. We’ve seen it before teams not working out right away and then start clicking around christmas. We’ll see

See here's the thing: Harden has been the man on every Rockets team he has ever been on. How Harden goes, is how the Rockets go. So of course his missed opportunities are going to be magnified. This has been the Rockets problem since Harden was acquired. He hasnt had the support. Now he has CP3 to help relieve some of that stress. He doesnt have to be on ball the entire time. For every game you listed that he under-performed, there is another where he was the reason they won. Unlike Steph, LeBron, or Kawhi he had no number 2 or number 3 to pick up the slack. That makes a difference, especially in the playoffs. You are right that his game doesnt translate as well to the playoffs where refs swallow their whistles. For the life of me, i will never understand, or forgive, game 6 last year. That was one of my most disappointing moments as a Rockets fan. To sit there and watch him not even try, but I cant overlook all he did to get us to that point. He has gone his entire Rockets career with role players surrounding him (I wont accept Dwight as a star). Now he has a guy who can share the load. This is the window for Harden to put up, or shut up.

mexi never remembers that you have to trade away near-matching salaries.
You gotta send out $20.7M for Gasol

ummm not really
why would memphis want serge or jonas, and what else would toronto have of value to give up?
No one called me a dumbass. No one also believes marc will be traded. So we'll see

Not really

I brought up a trade and you and pugz said no

Bosox says a team needs to give salary to take on marc

So i pulled Toronto out of my ass to prove a team could send salary if they wanted to

You didnt pull Toronto out of your ass, you heard whispers

And everyone knows teams could send salaries if they wanted to

I even told bosox to respect a JV+ package after jonas was brought up by one of you

i mean if memphis wants to dump gasol for no value then sure he can be moved

but hardly any team has $20m in tradable salaries and valued assets, which is why i said what i did before

id rather have TT+Zizic if youre just going to trade Gasol for crap

Bosox hearing about a tradeable star and not immediately making a Celtics offer is improvement
