Having a QB who is good enough to win some games, but not good enough to have you seriously contend is one of the most frustrating spots to be in. I think that is where Cousins stands. 

You saw Peyton manning last year right? You don't NEED a great quarterback to win in the NFL. The redskins simply have bigger holes to fill than quarterback

I'm sold, every team should be trying to acquire QBs similar to Peyton Manning from last year. That's the winning formula that should be replicated.

Of course they do, but almost all of them are on defense.

Yes, but you are saying you don't need a great QB to win based on last year, which was an anomaly. 
 
You don't need a great QB to win, but it certainly makes it a hell of a lot easier.

Your argument is still weird. It's basically ignoring that QB is by far the most important position in the sport. If you don't have someone who is very good/a borderline star, you should still be looking for a QB. 
 
Doesn't mean you have to dump your current guy, but you definitely should not be satisfied with it.
