Yeah I think he'll be a very good DH/1B for the rest of his career. His range at rf is very limited plus his arm isn't quite what is used to be. Idk though, given how shitty this fa class will be maybe someone who's desperate for a good bat will pony up the money for him.

Jonathan Villar: 25 years old

.298 AVG, .380 OBP, 15 HR, 52 SB

Brewers got him for some scrub minor league player

After seeing the sox a few weeks ago my thought was, how can this team not win their division

After seeing the Jays current staff i say the same thing

I have no clue who will win between the 2.

O's, sorry. Good luck in the wild card game

Yeah but their schedule is rough

Their only non division series is next week vs the Dodgers

I like Boston's chances better.

Rotation's probably just as good as Jays
Hitting a lot better
Bullpen only slightly worse.

Jays will be lucky to even earn a wc spot at this point.

"MRI scheduled for tomorrow "
"We hope hes ok"
Blah blah. Same things teams always say

I think ramos knows the truth. I expect the torn ucl news tomorrow

Sucks for stras. His new 200 mil deal hasnt even started yet
And I didn't like it at the time for Washington and still dont. Just think locking him up for that much when you have max, roark, gio and joe ross was not a necessity. Plus let him play out the season, what if he gets hurt(like he did)

Its not like hes a workhorse

Kind of a misnomer.  Boras' best clients usually buck Boras' advice.

what do you mean. All of Boras' big names but like Weaver and Strasburg have gone free agency.

Boras may have pushed an extension as well, what I'm saying is a good thing they signed instead of his usual route. Fail to see how this is a misnomer?

Helps that the Giants are in free fall. Idk who I'd rather see miss the playoffs more, the Mets, Cards, or Giants. Thankfully only 1 of those 3 can actually squeak in. Hoping it's the Cards because their rotation is significantly worse than the other 2

Yeah their division is very tough, but that's the schedule they need right now to make up ground

Definitely not for a NL team. I don't see a NL team matches what an AL team can offer. His fielding range is terrible and he's 36

Yeah having the giants free falling definitely helps

Also helps that the dodgers have the 2nd beat record in the NL since June 26(day kershaw was dl'd)
Also helps that the Giants had to play a normal schedule and not their pre all star game cupcake schedule. They were overachieving anyways

But who cares. Dodgers deserve more credit at this point for taking it
