Rich Hill has given up 1 hit in his last 13 innings
Has a 1.80 ERA this year with Oakland/LA

Randomly Ubaldo Jimenez has become a decent pitcher again. It definitely ends next start

Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports and MLB Network was first to report that the Brewers had claimed Puig on revocable trade waivers and engaged the Dodgers in trade talks. According to a source, one scenario would have netted the Brewers Puig and two prospects along with pitcher Brandon McCarthy, whose departing contract would have helped offset the Dodgers' luxury tax hit for adding Braun. The source said Braun remained at Miller Park with some teammates after the Brewers' Aug. 31 game against the Pirates while the Brewers and Dodgers continued talks up to 11:59 p.m. ET -- a minute before the Trade Deadline to acquire players and have them eligible for the postseason. In the end, they simply ran out of time.
The Braves and Giants also expressed interest in trading for Braun this summer, with the Braves going so far as having Chipper Jones reach out to Braun to persuade him to waive a partial no-trade clause that includes Atlanta.

wow so it was close

Puig has been good since the demotion to AAA

Offseason will be interesting for the dodgers

They've been linked to braun and longo and turner is a free agent and who knows if they'll re-sign him

Last night, Rich Hill was perfect through seven innings for the Dodgers, striking out nine batters before manager Dave Roberts elected to lift him for a reliever in the 8th inning. Hill spent time on the disabled list with blister issues, so apparently the Dodgers weren't taking any chances.

"I'm going to lose sleep tonight, and I probably should," Roberts said after the game. "I don't see myself having to make a tougher decision than this one. My best interests are for him and his finger."

Rich Hill's second start with the Dodgers was nearly 2 weeks after his first start
He was scratched from a start last week as a precaution
And last night was his first start in 7 days

They didnt want to risk his blister which isnt your average blister. His skin was pretty much torn off they said

Hes going to start going in regular 5 days rest from here on out

Bourn hitting a homer for the Orioles against Detroit is the best thing he's ever done for the Indians.

Indians bout to go 7 up on the Tigers. Unless they absolutely destroy us down the stretch, this division should be ours.

Although we're kinda screwed in the post-season if Salazar ain't healthy
