There's a stigma associated with the Yankees when it comes to high profile FAs. The Yanks used to simply outbid every one but why would Harper leave DC if and when the Nats match any ridiculous contract offer that comes his way? And dee had a great 1st half in 2014. His second half sucked. .648 ops. 100 point drop from his first half
And he was going back to his old ways, 4 walks compared to 27 in the first
