I don't really care who wins, just hoping for a good series

Are you offended that your team is a heavy favorite? That doesn't seem right

Why would I be offended by a fact?

They've been the heavy favorites since April, it's not gonna stop now

Very rare to see a preseason favorite in baseball dominate in the manner the Cubs have. They would go wire to wire if they win the series, would be special to see

You mad bro?
no. I had no faith in this series at all
The better team won for once which is good. Im tired of the favorites losing every single year. Every giants series, dodgers to the cards and mets, etc

Heres my stupid take:

When the cubs win
Yeah cubs fans will be happy. And should be obviously. None of them have seen one

But meh. Theyve been favorites since the day they were eliminated last year
Have faced adversity just once since then, and that was this week down 2-1 in the series. They obviously won the next 3 in blowout fashion
This was supposed to happen. Every Cub fan, every MLB fan, every pundit expected this to happen.

Just isn't as fun to see a team run away with it. Even if youre a cubs fan

The cubs "journey" was just them tanking to get these players
And they all got called up at once and won immediately

If the indians win. Shoot. No one saw this coming and even if they pondered it, they then lose carrasco and salazar

So yes. I know its a stupid take

ill be pulling for cleveland

But Cubs in 5 seems certain

I know I contradicted myself btw

I guess what im saying is. The cubs got good so fast its just kinda boring

But its still good to see them advance because favorites do need to win once in a while

Im all over the place. Thats why i called it a stupid take

Sounded better in my head

So then why did you contradict me saying they weren't a likable underdog?

No predictions from this corner, but one things for sure: it'll be damn cold out there in the heartland (mid to high 40's and possibility for rain Wednesday & Thursday).

Weather can be the great equalizer.

The Dodgers are the only team in baseball history to make it to the playoffs 10 consecutive years and not make it to the World Series

No they wouldn't.  They were not in first all season long.

I forgot how good the NL central teams were last year. But the royals were really good too.

I'm excited for this world series, also terrified.

Playing with house money though. Our best hitter has been out all year, and our #2 and #3 starters have been out all post season. This team will definitely remain a force. Hell, we could play the Cubs again in a year or two

The Dodgers traded us Carlos Santana for Casey Blake. Blake is a true Indians legend for that.

He also hit some monster homers against Detroit in 2007 to win the division

Idk who Im rooting for, Im just happy that a fanbase that has been tormented for many years will finally have a championship.

I cant believe Cleveland is becoming the go to place for championships, whats next the Browns?

Lol I think the Browns will move before winning a ring, but I can't really talk since I'm a Lions fan
