Schwarber wont and shouldn't be traded
You live with his defense in left

Trade soler and/or zobrist

Agreed. Cubs will go into next season with Schwarber, Soler, Zobrist, Heyward, and Almora as OFs. Baez has to play 2nd everyday. Just too good to not start regularly. Almora will likely play CF, Heyward in RF. Zobrist/Schwarber will probably split with Zobrist flowing through the inf occasionally. But I agree Soler will be traded and Zobrist could be traded as well. I'd like to keep Zobrist but he does still have 3 years and like $46 mil on his deal. Could be ugly the last year or 2, but not really worried about that. Next year they have to go for it all as Lackey/Arrieta will likely be gone after 2017 so who knows what shape the pitching will be in. I'm sure they will figure out something.

Their contributions were crucial.
Those guys are superstars compared to Josh Vitters, Brett Jackson, and Corey Patterson. When I want to feel sad I look at Jim Hendry's top draft picks.

I think they can get a pretty good starter for a soler package
Potential is still there

Yeah and he is signed to a heck of a deal. Believe the next 4 years he is due about $16-17 million which is a great value.

A guy who didn't get a hit all year is starting in the World Series.

Indians fans are complaining about their being so many Cubs fans there, but really it is unavoidable. It is immensely cheaper to buy a ticket to an Indians game and make the 5 hour drive. Hell, you could buy a ticket and a round trip plane ticket, and that is still less expensive than going to Wrigley.

People in Chicago have more money, nature of the beast.

Interestingly enough, his 2-seamer isn't usually this great. It's his curve/slurve and his cutter that are dominant. Mostly the curve.
