I understand why Pedroia would have been upset at the ending, cause he obviously would not have seen the replay yet, but fucking lol at that announcer who still had a problem with the call even after the replay showed he clearly swung

That third inning was so crazy in the ballpark. Homers coming at rapid fire, and then Napoli nearly hit the Q with a foul ball.

Can someone tell me what the deal was with that Chisenhall play at 2nd? They only showed the replay once, and he looked safe, but that replay went quickly so there must have been something.

they use him the way you're supposed to use your best reliever
It's a strategy, but not a very good one.  losing a game on one pitch > than losing a lead on one pitch

The way the Indians use Miller is certainly unique, and it works for us, but I'd say it is mainly because we have a lot of dependable guys in the pen, and another flame throwing stud at the back end, so even when they burn him that early, there are guys left to end the game.

basically his knee was off the bag for like .002 seconds while Boegarts still had his glove on his back. Technically he was off the base while tagged so he's out, but like Ernie Johnson was arguing he really shouldn't have been called out. Literally only in super slo-mo could you tell his knee popped up for a frame

That's the one thing I hate about replay. It wasn't brought in for shit like that.

Ernie Johnson made that exact same statement. Are you Ernie Johnson?

When I saw that slide, I thought that something has to be done about the rule.  Too many players use the "pop-up" slide and they are almost always off the bag for a split second.  If the fielders keep the tag on them, they are always called out, or could be.  I agree that if they over slide the bag they are out or if they get tagged before they touch the bag they are out.  The letter of the rule is that they are out, but I don't like it much.

Same can be said for any jeter play
I'm not a Yankee fan? Look the Red Sox 04 comeback and eventual WS win is obviously an iconic baseball moment. Like I said though, that's a team moment. Obviously Ortiz is one of the biggest catalysts in that, but it's still a team moment.

There's absolutely no argument that Ortiz is as big of an icon as Jeter. Like Mexi said last night, Jeter was literally the face of the sport.

Yeah I'm still confused to what they were going for there
