Tomlin pitched pretty well in game 2. At home. And game 6. Is at home.

Tomlin's game two performance didn't suddenly make him a good pitcher.

It's called a hot streak. Plus it's not like Toronto has great pitching.

I get it though, it's denial. As a mets fan I can relate. I get it. It's denial, I get it.

Jays rotation is a big reason why they're alive in the series, though.

If you're referring to today, yes, but that's one pitcher. They aren't alive in the series because their rotation lost games 1-3. It's not like Cleveland gets more wins for beating them by more runs.

probably not the right choice of words there, but to be fair toronto's pitching staff has pretty much neutralized a top 5 offense in baseball throughout the series thus far. the problem has been the offense, and thankfully the bats came alive tonight with some timely hitting.

Rich Hill is not an ace.  He is a decent #3 starter, though.
