They need to look at that ruling. Being off the bag isn't for that case. Damn near every player does it.

doesn't matter they're winning tomorrow anyways lol.

I imagine, but it would be on three days rest again.

I was thinking.... wouldn't you rather just throw Merrit out there and get what you get in game 4? Then come home for game 5 with Kluber on normal rest to close it out with the hometown bonus? I mean, I see the other end of the argument where you need to save your bullpen, but with Kluber on short rest there's nothing saying that he will be able to go a long distance.
