Love is younger, under contract longer, is a superior rebounder and passer, and from this year is showing he's a comparable scorer and shooter to Melo

The ONLY thing Melo is probably better than Love at this point is perimeter defense. But Melo still is a defensive liability. Melo would guard Iggy most likely -- but can Love not guard Iguodala?

It just does not make sense. I'd take Love over Melo this season any day

He would absolutely have to be, the only way the trade would make sense. I had heard they were interested in acquiring a big like that last offseason.

On another note, Jrue is playing excellent as of late. 17 pts, 4 rbs, 8 asts, and 2 stls a night on 48% shooting over his last 21. 30 pts, 9 rbs, and 7 asts tonight as well. 20 and 8 over the last 10. And one of the better defensive point guards in the league.
