I mean, that's less absurd. Lakers got an important player for their title run while the Grizzlies are still reaping their benefit from it considering Marc is still very good.

I wouldn't describe what the Bucks have as a "core". They have a solid cornerstone in Giannis, and a guy in Jabari Parker who I don't think is a building block, and then a bunch of whatevers.
