I wouldn't describe what the Bucks have as a "core". They have a solid cornerstone in Giannis, and a guy in Jabari Parker who I don't think is a building block, and then a bunch of whatevers.
giannis, jabari and middleton isnt a core?

I think only one of those guys has star potential (well, basically already is), so no, not to me.

Every team has their own core, just depends on how good you think it is. I don't think the Bucks one is as good as people want to believe.

I believe Middleton is an elite two way player and jabari has untapped potential
Not saying sky's the limit, but those are 2 20 point scorers to pair with giannis
Its a good start

Define elite
great shooter and a great defender
Middleton is crazy underrated

Even if they want to trade him or jabari, they both have excellent trade value

I'd be more confident in the Bucks future if they didn't blow their cap space on a bunch of mid-level players.

Plumlee, Henson, Mirza, Dellavedova, all on 3-4 year deals, all making around 10 million annually. Why? To be a .500 team?

Khris Middleton is just another copy of someone like Chandler Parsons
