Ultimately, it doesn't really matter who sucks and who doesn't.  Only two teams are even relevant.

But really
I can't think of a Demarcus trade. Theres no equal value for him

I posted that klay for dmc one i thought of. Could make a case it makes sense for both but obviously it wont happen

They'd be giving up a top 10 scorer for him
(top 10 once he has his own team)

But looks like the kings are gonna lose him for nothing or he's going to be a rental for someone

makes no sense for golden state.

the success of the warriors last year was that their death lineup and draymond playing center, which took away the rim protector out of the paint. and then they had 3 wings (iguodala, thompson, and barnes) who could hit threes coming off of ball screens (barnes wasn't great, but thats why they upgraded him to durant) as well as steph curry being the best shooter in the league. dray could defend and rebound like a big, but his ball handling and shooting ability made the death lineup hard to stop

now, obviously they would still be very good with a cousins/klay swap, but it 100% changes their identity. they like to have iggy around 26min, the starting center around 20min, and klay around 34min. iguodala would most likely start at the two, which takes away your sixth man. like, you could give boogie 32min, give iggy his 26, push down zaza's 20min to like 10min, and then give livy and clark those 12 minutes extra, but it really fucks with your rotations.

but most importantly, they lose a ton on offense. death lineup worked because barnes was a capable 3pt shooter. yes boogie is a good 3pt shooter for a big, but barnes is without a doubt a much better 3pt shooter. and it takes boogie's low post threat or draymond's rebounding out of effect by having that second big out there.

its just not a good fit for gsw

Kevin Garnett is the only player to be in the top 50 all-time in points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals

just means theyd need draymond and iggy to hit their 3s
Changes their tempo obviously

Its not a perfect trade
But i cant find any perfect trades for demarcus

Sacramento is going to lose him for nothing
