obviously not talking about the midrange when we are talking about the houston rockets/dantonis system and i say jump shooting.

again, those threes can be analytically the right thing to do, but my point is they will have cold days. defense in the playoffs is different, the preassure is different, it wont be as easy as it is now for them #foldingchairs

Then how about you explain to us what exactly it is you mean with "jump shooting" because you clearly have a different opinion of that term than anyone else here

what you guys are also missing about the 2015 warriors since you wanna bring up that championship as your evidence , is that the warriors also play defense along with that insane offense

rockets DONT

Which brings us back to this:

But teams that post up and rely on the mid range can beat teams without defense? Is this a jump shooting thing or a lack of defense thing?

So it's not about defense? Got it. OKC doesn't have much of a chance against Houston

Karl Towns in his second year is averaging 24-12-3 on 60.5% TS with a PER over 25 but to say he could be better than AD is ludicrous. Ok.

I told you i want houston to play okc

Also stop with the defense in the playoffs talk. Teams just arent as good as they used to be defensively
Utah for instance isnt going to hurt anyone in the playoffs. And theyre a great defensive team. Memphis too

Cleveland defensively hasnt even been good this year yet we expect to see them in the finals

Why doesn't memphis do damage in the playoffs

Cause they always lack offense

they do lack offense i agree, but their defense has done alot and taken them to WCF. theyre always relevant without an incredible offense

its hard for a smaller market to attract 4 hall of famers so they roll with who they got and its been successful for what theyve had

i obviously know the offense has been ridiculous in the past couple years, but as weve seen, in the playoffs its not the same

this years defenses are even weaker so it remains to be seen what happens. u might be right on the money with the timing this year, the offense has been crazy

obviously the rockets will be the favorites in the series, but dont even think for a second to go buy them brooms at walmart. itll be a tough series for the rockets

Rubio has been playing some good ball lately.

It's a shame he can't shoot. He's pretty underrated because he doesn't score like the top tier PGs, but he's a good basketball player.

VC dropped 24 on 8-8 shooting today. Grandpa can still ball.

rubio would have been awesome in the earlier eras

all the PG nowadays have to score, so hes neither here or there now

Due to injury. If he was a bad player it'd be different

What? Injuries have had no affect on his ability to not be a shitty scorer/shooter
