part of his problem is always blaming someone

A teammate, a ref, a play call
Never takes responsibility

him going up in the mvp talk the last few weeks has gotten to his head. now hes rushing for it, instead of racking up the wins slowly and getting it as a 4th seed. ruining his own chances with this nonsense. last two fucking games smfh.

If he wanted to leave OKC, I don't see the issue with signing in Golden State. He wanted to win a title because he hadn't done so in his nine year career. If he joined the Celtics, his shot at making the Finals was just as hard as it was when he was in OKC (biased me says itd be easier but im trying to stay impartial), and that to him was a lateral move.

He wanted to win a title. With the dominance of the teams in the league, it meant to sign with the Cavs, Warriors, or Spurs if he wanted a ring. Cavs had no cap, Spurs had little cap, and he was already good friends with Draymond and Steph.

Joining a stacked team did not matter to him. It doesn't matter if they were "four minutes from the Finals" -- that team overachieved to get to that point, and that was as far as they were going to go. They weren't going to beat Cleveland, and they never were. Stop with this whole beta bullshit -- if he were a "beta" he would have signed on a minimum contract so they didn't have to lose Bogut and other pieces.

I guess the thing with russ i dont like is he passes for stats. Not for the team

Sometimes you need the extra pass. you pass it to someone hoping they pass it to someone else for an optimal shot

Russ doesnt do that. He passes it to you for the dime

He's really not a great floor general or passer. Hes willing it like hes playing 2k

Yeah, I can't call someone who takes 30 shots in a game a willing passer.

rondo would do the same thing. obviously its a little different because rondo would rather stand at the top of the key waiting for another cut to happen rather than shoot, but almost all of his passes were attempts to get assists rather than just moving the ball for opportune situations

Theres a reason miami focused on shutting down harden over kd and russ in 2012

Still rings true today
