Solomon Hill at $11M loooool

Pels can technically afford CP3 by stretching Asik, renoucning Jrue, and dumping Hill's contract with a pick for cap relief. But does CP3 want to play with a roster that's technically worse than it currently is, and is definitely worse than his current situation? I don't think so.

The only way it'd be a bad move to not move the pick would be if it fell to 4 (63% chance of that not happening), and we'd still be getting a really good player in Tatum/Isaac

Fultz is a star, Lonzo could be really good (especially with Brad Stevens' motion offense), and Josh Jackson is very comparable to college Wiggins. 3 star draft, with a lot of great near-stars from 4-8

both rosters suck , for sure , but i feel like id take my chances with AD and and Cousins over what he has now , especially considering clippers are seriously washed and blake cant stay healthy. feel like it would just be good for the NBA if he went there

and if theres one player who could get the most out of AD and Boogie , its prolly cp3 . they need some serious leadership

Coming from a guy who adores Westbrook and kills Durant for going to the Warriors? Got it.

actually i will go into it

clippers didnt draft him. clippers werent 4 mins away from the finals. clippers dont have two top 5 players on the same team. clippers werent ever up 3-1 on the best regular season team ever.

he wouldnt be going to a team that won a ship before he gor there, or a 73 win core, or a team that just took u down being down 3-1

he would go back where he was drafted , thats totally fine, especially since the pelicans suck. if they were a team like the warriors , id see your point

and last year's Thunder would never beat Cleveland, either. It's not just GSW that he was concerned with

Like would you have been that much happier if he joined Boston instead of Golden State? Outside of me, it should be no difference between the two. He did what he felt was best for his goal of winning, and that's with the Warriors, not the Thunder. We've just spent the past few months talking about how Westbrook has to do everything because OKC has nothing -- why would Durant stay?

yes i have said a hundred times , its not about leaving , but its WHO he chose. celtics or okc were the teams i thought he'd go too, and if he went to the Celtics , thats a move saying alright lebron, now ima try to take the torch from you and then take down the warriors. thats a competitive mentality, but he didnt do it because hes simply scared of Lebron. now he has everything in his favor, basically set to the make the finals. idk, just a weak move in my books

its just time to accept the times have changed and supertars wanna play with other superstars. i blame AAU for that, but from the old school mentality, it was a weak move
