There's a difference between "control" and you calling him the coach and GM. He has power, every star does, but he obviously has more than normal. but he doesn't create the rotations, he doesn't control the sub patterns other than his own minutes, he doesn't create the defensive scheme, he doesn't negotiate salaries with agents, and he doesnt negotiate trades
