David Blatt has taken Brad Stevens, Tom Thibodeau, and Mike Budenholzer to school. THE GOAT

Another dominating defensive performance in the 2nd half for the Cavs. Those Blatt adjustments

I would hope that in today's NBA Tristan Thompson isn't even close to a max player.

I would let KLove walk if you're certain he keeps playing like this, though.

Still don't understand how David Griffin didn't win executive of the year. Obviously we cant give him credit for signing LeBron, but those two trades in the middle of the year saved this team that was 19-20, and made a bold coaching hire who has paid off.

Thats another thing about Blatt. When he was hired, the scouting report on him was that he doesnt just automatically run one system, and that he adapts to his personnel. He had to alter the game plan offensively and defensively with no Kevin Love to maximize the team, with the focus on defense (even i can admit the offense is mostly LeBron, but it seems like they usually score out of timeouts, too) and he has done it. Blatt altered the system when they made the trades, and he did it again after the injuries. He is very versatile

Imo I think Ainge getting Isaiah/dumping Rondo + Green was more impactful regarding record turnaround than getting JR/Mozgov/Shump. Plus, the Cavs hardly have up much for their guys, where the media crucified Boston for not getting enough in their deals. The fact that Boston easily won that Rondo trade shows how good of a job Ainge did

That said, they both deserved it over Myers

Boston finished under .500 and beat a bunch of teams resting their starters to slip into the playoffs. That ain't more deserving than Griffin.

Yeah I was about to say acquiring a chucker who plays no defense and finishing under .500 is not deserving of the award haha
