Would have been fun to see CP3 average 5 assists a game while Kobe took contested mid range jumpers

What does his past have to do with what kind of player he is now?

From all that I'm hearing, four of the first five picks are all-but locked in

T-Wolves: Karl-Anthony Towns
Lakers: Jahlil Okafor
Sixers: D'Angelo Russell
Magic: Mario Hezonja

Mudiay will go #4 (to either NYK or a trade up partner like Sacto/Denver) or #6 for the Kings.

Pistons are "zeroing in" on Stanley Johnson.

I'm gonna kind of rant, but I would never draft a guy based on the current roster. By the time that rookie develops the roster will be different, I wouldn't ever draft for need. Go back and look at any draft, mistakes are made because teams have a decent to solid player already in house so they pass on the better player. 99.9% of rosters go through major changes every three years, and most rookies take 2-3 years to develop. So why would you draft based on your current roster? Obviously the exception is if you have an Anthony Davis and you know he's going to be around, but otherwise. It's why Minnesota passing on a guard because they have Zach Lavine would be such a idiotic plan. Though that's just an example, I seriously doubt they're going to draft Towns because of Lavine, but that has been brought up on this board.

I'm not a huge Hinkie fan but I love the way he drafts.

I'm fine with picking Stanley if there is no one left on the board. I like him and think he will be a really good defender day 1, but that jumper is so ugly lol. Worries me.

If the Pistons really go Stanley and everybody else falls accordingly, the Heat could end up with either WCS or Winslow. I'd like that.

FWIW, I think the only way we do end up with Stanley is if Winslow is off the board.
From everything I've read, I think we are:
1a. Winslow
1b. Hezonja
2. Johnson

Makes sense.

If I'm being honest I think Stanley even drops out of the top 10. I can see the Heat grabbing Kaminsky.
It's between Stan and Frank for the Heat I'm pretty sure, although I wouldn't be opposed to WCS.

NCAA proposal would let underclassmen return to school after declaring for NBA draft
Gino Bottero Jun 24 2015, 02:03PM
The NCAA men's basketball oversight committee has sponsored a proposal that would allow college underclassmen the opportunity to return to school even after declaring for the NBA draft.

The proposal will need to be adopted by the membership in January in order to come into effect.

The news was first reported by Andy Katz of ESPN.

The more I watch Mudiay the more impressed I am. Going to China really hurt his stock IMO.

I really like Porzingis offensively, but his defensive ability inside and playing with contact really scares me.

What is D'Angelo? PG or SG? There's even some about him that worries me.

Same goes for Towns, think he has to be a C because he lacks the explosion and athletic ability to defend a lot of fours. Love his potential in the paint though.
