And considering a rich man's Rick Porcello is still homeless, that's super bad.

Bumgarner 85 innings, 79 strikeouts
Kershaw 87 innings, 112 strikeouts

Yeah ill take kersh
And suddenly his era is 3.21 after hovering in the 4s all season

Like i said before, he was getting shitty luck. Still a beast. Still gonna win CY. Still gonna finish his 7th straight year with a under 3 ERA

Miguel Cabrera is hitting a modest .667 against the Indians this year

Im not saying the Nationals wont end up winning the division, but damn they are 31-30. Definitely not what I expected out of that pitching staff. Stephen Strasburg has a 6.55 ERA. 6.55, holy shit!

I'd say its more about velocity than initial performance with Verlander, and he's still pitching in the low 90s

He did get up to 96 and 97 a few times but they weren't strikes. Mostly sat around 92-94 which is where he was last year. He's not gonna be the guy who has 100 in his back pocket whenever he needs it anymore.

Today he looked pretty good at the start but as the game went on he started to look like the Verlander we saw last year, which honestly is just who he is now.

Carrasco strikes out two in a row to start the inning, and Francona pulls him at 99 pitches because a lefty is up. Francona is micro-managing here...

And the lefty is Anthony Gose who strikes out like 75% of the time.

Managers care way to much about handedness matchups. Dartmouth does that shit all the time even though the numbers don't agree.

It's definitely vintage Francona too. The Indians' rotation is straight filth, and Francona is constantly giving them quick hooks and trusting a shitty bullpen.

Lmao. Tying runner on 3rd with one out. And JD hits into a double play to end the game on the first pitch. Quality fucking at bat.
