The Mets do look good
And a big start means a lot

It kept the dbacks afloat a few times the past few years

And last years brewers were relevant til late in the season when they faltered

Weve been getting very good pitching from our starters and the offense has gotten some timely hits. I think the pitching will be there all year. The guys feed off each others competitiveness, kind of like "Hey, if this dude is pitching a shutout, I need to step up my game too."

Side note: Garrett Richards comes off of the DL today, making his first start since getting injured last year.

Lester may have figured out how to deal with future pick off throws

8th straight win. Havent won that many since June 2010. Best record in the NL, lol. Bad part about it is we lost 2 guys in the process. Losing Darnaud especially is going to hurt us. Hes been our best hitter so far this year. Its a very big loss, but we have Kevin Plawecki who is our 2nd best prospect and the best catching prospect in the league.

Their GM is terrible too.

If they would have won the series last year it would have been a damn travesty.

It is odd seeing Country Breakfast on the other side against his old teammates while all this is going down.

The Tigers only lost one game easily this season, which was yesterday.
Coincidentally that is the game I went to. -_-
