but really though I could have made a similar prediction.

"If the Mets don't make mistakes, they will win".

I don't see how you can say that GMF when the mets took the lead on an uncharacteristic error by a gold glove first basemen.

And regardless, if wright makes that play in the 14th, they might not lose it right then, but you can't say for certain that they'd win

Familia was definitely due to give up something so hopefully for mets fans he got it out of his system

Problem is the only other time he struggled this year, he struggled for 3 or 4 games straight.

Like you said, hopefully he bounces back.

He didn't really struggle though, he just made one mistake pitch. It's not like he couldn't find the strike zone or labored through the inning or anything

when deGrom gets off to a rough start tonight and gives up a run or two in the first inning it's going to be ugly. real ugly.

Might have to hit the hard stuff when that happens.

Have some faith!

I couldn't find a video of George Costanza singing Meet the Mets, but imagine that I did find it and posted it and you listened

I was looking for a video that specifically only had the part of George singing. I didn't want anything else damn it

deGrom is either gonna find his form and give a game 1 vs Dodgers start, or it's gonna snowball.

in the same vein, idk whether Cueto is gonna be game 5 ALDS Cueto where he'd be flirting with perfection if not for a bad Moose throw or game 3 ALCS Cueto that we don't speak of.

We still have Medlin for long relief.  Morales didn't pitch last night either.  Hoch, Duffy, and Madson should all be available as well.  I think the only guy we won't have tonight is Herrera.

I like whoever can jump on early in this one and whoever does jump on early will make it ugly.
