How do the Jays value Pillar? I like him, can't imagine the price would be astronomical

They have pompey to replace him and need pitching
Could use him to get a nice controllable young starter

But i dont think theyre in a rush to trade him

Annoying hitter, great fielder. I don't think his bat will improve any further, but he could probably put up a few more 3 WAR seasons.

Well, right now our CF is a guy the Padres gave us for a lefty specialist out of the bullpen, so a guy who is a great fielder and nothing else would work for me.

Nah I like him but he's easily replaceable

As long as we replace him with someone who is as capable a lead off hitter. I like speed on the base paths. Distracts a pitcher from pitching properly, and its never too hard to score him.
