No way Margot and Guerra needed to be in the same deal for Kimbrel. 
 
This better not end up being Hanrahan and Bailey 3.0

We sold high on Guerra; I'm fine with him in the deal. Plus we have Xander and Moncada locking up the IF anyways

Margot will be a solid piece gone, but you have to give away some talent in order to get stars like Kimbrel

I have no problem selling high on Guerra or even moving Margot since the outfield is a logjam with JBJ, Castillo, Betts, and Benintendi. It's just I would have rather moved them for a starter. Also hope we sell high on JBJ this offseason. 
 
We could have gotten O'Day or Clippard in free agency and not given up assets. Speculation is DD is going all in on a starter now in FA.

Didn't JBJ fall off hard towards the end of the season? He went to my school, I've played basketball with him before. Really want him to do well.

But I'm not sure he can hit well enough. Great fielder

Yeah. He pretty much had a hot August where his BABIP was over .400.
 
Probably second to Kiermaier defensively (Pillar could be up there too).

The Royals plan was suck for over a decade, accumulate high picks, and then convert busts from the rotation to the bullpen.
