People are acting like that was a monumental hold. The defender held on to Tate's shoulder for not even a second in time. I agree that it should have been a flag, but 2-3 years ago we'd be irritated if they threw the flag, there.

A delay of game, in that situation, should absolutely end the game unless the kicking team has a timeout. There is no reason Detroit should have gotten a second chance. Not only did the play happen, anyway, but they didn't even get the goddamn snap off in time. How do you not get that snap off in time?
 
There is no way the game shouldn't end on that. The NFL needs to address this in the offseason.
