Dalton looked good again, glad he's steadily improving. Always have rooted for that guy!

Doing pretty good considering he didn't have Green for 3 quarters today and hasn't had Marvin Jones at all this season. No Eifert either.

Because you have always had an irrational hate for him.

If anyone goes back and looks at RG3s rookie season and comes back saying he didn't look like a franchise QB or did not have the potential to be one, then they're lying.

Obviously he was great his rookie season but I don't think he could've had sustained success. He could've been solid but I don't think that much of him as a thrower.

It's not like those are the players the Redskins would have picked. They could have gotten different players that would actually fill needs.
So lets say they didnt do the trade.

#6 overall, they dont go QB. They traded up for Griffin because they didnt like Tannehill clearly. So #6, they go BAP, which at the time was Mark Barron.

#39, 2nd round, they don't have a QB yet, so might as well take one now. The next QB taken in the 2nd? Brock Osweiler.

For the 2013 Draft, they picked at 22. Without RG3, not a chance in the world they finish that good. Probably inside the Top 12, but for now, lets just give them 22.

So at 22, what do the Skins need? Probably a corner most, so they go who actually went 22, Trufant.

And finally, the #2 overall pick. Robinson? Bortles? Who knows.

Obviously this isn't a great way to say how to value a trade, but its the best I've got. I think the Skins absolutely made the right move

They didn't like Tanehill so they felt the need to make the trade. If they hadn't made the trade, it would've been because they were comfortable enough picking Ryan. So there isn't a scenario where they don't go QB there imo.

Can you do this again with them having picked Tanehill? I'm interested.

I mean, they didn't like Tannehill. If they did, they never would have traded up.

Maybe, in this hypothetical, the Rams wanted RG3, and didnt trade the pick. I doubt much changes if you do draft Tannehill (since you are asking for it); they probably take G Silatolu in the 2nd then.

For those who didnt see the play:

Jets v Packers

Geno Smith throws like a 50 yd TD to Kerley, to tie the game at 31. But apparently Mornhinweg called a timeout before the snap, and its called off. Jets don't score on the drive as the result
