Losing in fantasy by 3 and they aren't using Mathews enough, damnit. He gets one or two plays and is done for the rest of the drive.

I had a rough week.

Didn't start Moreno due to not knowing how big his role would be, and had Gerhart get me 5 points instead. Also had to start TRich over Ellington due to Ellington's unknown status, not that Ellington was great tonight anyways.

And Rodger playing Seattle fucked me hard too.

Next week though I should be set with:

Rodgers
Ball
Ellington
Patterson
Sanders/Benjamin
Graham
Moreno

Lol yeah he/that oline was brutal.

But damn watching those Redskins highlights its crazy evident RG3 doesn't know how to step up into a pocket. Half the time his protection was fine, if he stepped up he could have delivered a throw and not get hit. Instead he either stands there or tries to get outside around the edge, which is where the rushers are lol.

Kaep showed his development in that area this week, Griffin needs to do the same. Doubt he will though.

He also looked the opposite of agile.

#Berserk4Kirk :p

At this point if RG3 continues this throughout September, the Skins may as well see what Kirk can do, good or bad. What's there to lose. If he fails like Griffin, they'll get a top 10 pick and can get Mariota/Winston/Hundley. If he doesn't they have their QB.

Griffin scrambled his way into pressure multiple times, but let's not act like avoiding that kind of pressure was as simple as stepping up into the pocket. As a qb, you'd like to have enough faith in your offensive line to not expect a pass rusher to be in your front pocket as soon as you finish your dropback, but not many QBs have the displeasure of Polumbus "protecting" them.

Pocket awareness is a work in progress, but otherwise, Griffin had a pretty good game. It's tough to put points on the board when you turn the ball over inside the ten twice, and completely shit the bed on special teams.

You have a pretty clear agenda against rg3 though, so I'll take it with a grain of salt. ;)

I'm probably getting my hopes up too much but I actually believe the Browns are a playoff contender if Josh Gordon is reinstated, assuming the Browns defense is more like how they played in the second half and not like the first half, which I believe is the case. Justin Gilbert needs to improve though, and fast.

I really like this team, can't remember the last time I did like a Browns team. Probably 2007. But even then the defense was bad and the play of Derek Anderson was unsustainable, but that season was entertaining as hell

Actually have playmakers on offense, what appears to be a stout D that can get to the QB without blitzing, and dynamic linebackers (Dansby/Kirksey)

I don't think Manziel sees the field this year if Gordon is reinstated, because it's going to be hard for Hoyer to look bad with weapons like Gordon, Cameron and Hawkins on the outside (Taylor Gabriel looked kinda decent too, and I'd mention Benjamin if not for him being injured every other play) and 3 capable backs behind him (Tate/West/Crowell)

Hopefully I'm not getting my hopes up for nothing, but I expect disappointment somehow

I just needed Keenan's Allen to not outscore Stafford and CJ by more than 30...and he didn't. I was top scorer this week. Stafford,CJ,LeVeon Bell,CPatt, and Houston's DST

I never said they'd make the playoffs, said contention

And that's an awfully strong statement to make 1 game into his head coaching career

Keep using the defensive philosophies he used in successful stints in NY and Buffalo and giveaway to an offensive coordinator and he'll be fine.

I'll reiterate that Grossi isn't always reliable, but he's sticking with this story. Most of that article is assumptions though

I did hear this morning that owners are pressuring the league because they are worried Gordon and Welker won't serve their suspensions.

It's the opposite. They're worried they'll have to serve the suspensions, and that's been a hold up. They want them reinstated

Oh and yeah, the o-line is so bad. Idk but Ben needs to do something. I saw a weakness on Eli's left side. I forget who plays there but it was just awful.
Will beatty and some guy who was the backup LG for shartz or whatever his name is.

I honestly saw nothing last night to convince me this team can improve this year. Fewell still has no idea what he's doing on D, stevie brown blew his coverage a lot, and the wide receivers still were not on the same page as Eli.

Actually the only good thing I saw last night was Larry Donnell.

Donnell, Prince, JPP was pretty good.

I think it can improve, but we need to get rid of Beatty or do something with him lol

Seems like there is some real pressure being put on Goodell to resign. It's hilarious because when it was proven that he had no real evidence that implicated us in a bounty system it went from "we have a million pages of evidence that implicates the Saints in this bounty program" to "Saints players and coaches were suspended because of their roll in covering up the bounty evidence."

Who's covering up evidence now Roger???
