I only looked at Curry, Blake Griffin, and Paul George.

There's two players that I'm really curious as to where they get drafted, not sure how people are going to view them during the voting process.

Blake Griffin was my 2nd option, but Cousins is more of a premium, and can impact the game at a higher rate.

To me at least.

I guess in a game where you don't have egos it makes sense. But you still have to take into account his poor defense and questionable shot selections at times.

I was reading an article the other day about how he did show improvements defensively this year, and was league average, and at times above average. Shot selection, I'm not that worried about. He's good enough to look past it

I have a post from months ago addressing Cousins defensively. I heard he was about average if not more, all the stats said he was good, etc. I took that as an opportunity to study him and he's a solid post defender, but he still has a long long ways to go everywhere else. Gets lost on rotations a lot, he's still lazy (especially when he isn't getting his way offensively), poor help side and team defender, etc. I mean he did approve, but not nearly enough to start saying he's average.

Still, it's a lot easier to correct than potential offensive deficiencies. I'll always take a risk on the guy who has had struggles defensively in areas such as that. Hasn't exactly been in a stable situation.

Oh I agree, if you build the team right the pick is fine.

The upside to a late first rounder is the possibility of getting two really solid players, as opposed to one elite player and a mid-level starter.
