Very impressive for the Raps to win a game 5 on 8. Very impressive.
The foul count was 26 to 21 in favor of the Raptors. Brooklyn is going to win this series because they're the better team...

Every time I develop even the slightest bit of hope in any of my teams, some sort of bullshit happens before I even get a chance to care.

All of my interest in the NBA is already gone.

Don't think you could say that with such confidence

lakers are silly and blake did close game 1
Come on, he entered the game for free throw purposes, that's it. He didn't close the game. Out of the possible 24 minutes in the second half, he played like 23 seconds. Not even a half minute. The final 36 minutes of the game he played like 2 total minutes.

I mean I give Toronto credit for having such a good year but Brooklyn is far more talented.

I still can't get over the fact that Thibs is getting his ass handed to him by Randy fucking Wittman, whose career winning percentage as a coach is the worst of ALL TIME for coaches with over 400 games of experience.

Far more talented? Where? Joe Johnson is the only real stud player they have who's still got it, and he's always been known to disappear for stretches. Deron, Pierce, Garnett--all finished. After that, it's all role players.

JV is kicking Garnett and Plumlee's collective ass. Kyle Lowry will eventually start getting the calls he deserves. DeRozan is finally comfortable. Patrick Patterson is having a nice series. You know Terrence Ross will affect one game or another, soon.

Also, I don't care what the foul count was, if you watched the fourth quarter, in particular, you'd know what I meant.

Aside from that, at least 3-4 of those extra fouls for Brooklyn were because they needed to send Toronto to the line.

A 29 year old Deron Williams is finished.... lmao get real.

Toronto's entire team is role players (or should I say "roll" players) outside of maybe Derozan

And Jonas Valanciunis is garbage. And yes I've seen his stats this series. Rebounding the ball really well. Can't finish around the bucket unless it's a dunk. Should be averaging 30 right now if he had any skill.

It's really not fair to label val "garbage" when he's 21. He's still pretty dam raw, and has sure showed flashes of potential this series.

Wut? He was an undrafted player who happened to have a hot streak under a coach who ran a guard friendly system.
