We have no cap left to sign Bledsoe do we? Or without Greg's caphold would we?

IDK if they would do a sign and trade though.

PG - Bledsoe
SG - Kid Can't Play
SF - Butler
PF - Smith
C - Drummond

Bench - Jennings, Augustin, Meeks, a few white guys

I'll go to The Palace and check that out a few times.  Bought zero tickets last season.  Seems like they're making strides.

Is there any legs to the Bledsoe to Detroit or is that just Pistons fans dreaming?

dont think you can double sign and trade but they some players i like and we can have a handshake agreement and let them take greg and we sign bledsoe.
that's very hard to do, since the lakers could always swoop in and offer a max for Bledsoe

LA wants him on a max, but they know Phoenix will match if not in a S&T. The Suns want the Rockets 1st & Randle, and that's not happening. Once LA hears Detroit drops Monroe's cap hold, they are putting in max offers on both guys, and odds are they'd land one of them

No legs at all, just spit-balling.

Wonder what we would want back in a S&T with the Suns.

BTW, I think you can sign and trade for a sign and trade. At least I can't find anything about it saying you can't lol.

Thought we were trying to move past the era of the inmates running the asylum.  Seriously, if they got Bledsoe in a S&T for Monroe and could run Bledsoe and Augustin at PG, Jennings could go back to Italy for nothing for all I care.

As of right now Detroit has $51,413,230 in committed salary.

Monroe's cap hold is $10,216,135. So that's $61,629,455 in total salary they have right now.

NBA salary cap is $63,065,000 this season. So obviously that means Detroit has $1,435,545 in cap room left.

So where does that leave Monroe? He can sign a offer sheet and the Pistons can match, which will likely knock out any remaining money yall have left to spend. Or yall could decline to match it, and have about $11,651,770 in cap room, which would not be enough to sign Eric Bledsoe to an offer sheet worth what he is asking. Sign and trade for any additional salary leaves less than that $11,651,770 for Bledsoe.

So with that said, as currently constructed, it's improbable the Pistons have any room for Bledsoe without making some sort of move first.

They also still haven't signed those minimum contracts to Aaron Gray and Cartier Martin. Gray will sign for $1,310,286 and Martin will sign for $1,227,985. Could hypothetically sign either into cap space and keep the room exception of $2,700,000.

I guess I don't understand how that works.  Couldn't the PIstons max Monroe, the Suns max Bledsoe, and then the two players are traded for each other?

on first take they said cleveland should offer kyrie for love. sas said no, but minny should ask for that. idk. if they could match salary for klove and rubio, that may not be a bad idea.

way too big of a deal though.

Someone brought this up on a Cavs forum, not a rumor just a suggestion so it won't happen:

Suns receive: Bennett, Waiters, Kevin Martin, 2nd round picks

Wolves receive: Bledsoe, Len, Miami '15 first, Memphis '15 first

Cavs receive: Kevin Love

This is assuming the Suns feel they don't want to pay Bledsoe and the Wolves do
