Getting Dieng would soften the Wiggins blow a little bit.. But, damn it..

I'm interested in seeing Drummond and Smith together without Monroe on the team, I think it's a nice fit next to Drummond. I still like Pope despite his struggles. Get some value for Monroe and I like the team a lot more.

Getting Dieng basically means they get rid of Varejao too

Idk if it'd work cap wise but they could be adding Varejao I as well..

I did see on realgm the Cavs were offering a 1st for an "experienced center"

Because Dieng is a highly touted asset that wouldn't come cheap, and you wouldn't move a lot of assets for him if he were going to only get a limited number of minutes. With Andy and Love in the frontcourt, he's the backup. When they play smallball, he's the #2 backup big.

Andy has to be moved if they want Dieng, just being realistic

Considering Andy's injury history, best case is he only plays 20-25 mins a game. Dieng could fit in.

I'd laugh though if it turns out the Cavs extended Kyrie, signed LeBron, and traded for Love with him committing to re-sign long term all in the same off-season. Two guys Laker fans thought were slam dunks to be Lakers (Kyrie & Love) and a guy they tried to sign (LeBron)

Too funny

There are injury concerns tho, and even if he does tell the Cavs he'll re-sign, it's not a guarantee.

He's not putting up those numbers with LeBron. I'd guess he averages about 17/12 with Bron next year. That's still terrific though btw.

I'd be shocked if Love doesn't put up at least 20 a game
