Can work in both ways for a player. Despite people realizing Davis was the clear #1 pick and a foundation player, he went underrated. MKG on the other hand excelled so much in his role (pretty much the only role he can play), and got overrated. I thought he'd be really good myself..

Not UK-Calipari related, but fuck Harrison Barnes. He was so obviously going to suck, and I'm still mad people criticized the Cavs for passing on him. Dion is so much better.

I was never on the MKG hype train. I thought he'd be a glue guy, but I don't think you take glue guys second overall. I said Beal would be a better pro. I didn't pick him on the All-Rookie first team. I thought he'd be a good defender but was never the least bit sold on his offensive game.

I still don't get how he was underrated haha. He was a clear #1 overall, the NPOY, etc.

Just because you're at the top of your class doesn't mean you can't be underrated.

Everyone thought Kyrie was the consensus #1 in his draft except Bill Simmons but read what people thought about his game and future. Nothing like what he is and can become.

Could just be the jersey, but Andre looks like he toned up/slimmed out a bit more.

Useful stat of the day:

8 years ago, current Kings forward Rudy Gay was selected with the 8th overall pick. Gay wears #8 on his jersey

Trilluminati.
