So Jordan gets credit for the Bulls management being able to put pieces around him?

LeBron was getting fucked over year after year by one of the most inept organizations in *basketball.

FUUUUUCK LEBRON

I'm not even arguing with this, I've done it for too many years. Fuck him, he's a bitch. You simply cannot fathom the weight the name "Jordan" holds.

I'm starting to lean toward LeBron, too, and it's not because of the rings. It's the sheer fact that nobody's close to him as an all around player. Every superstar beneath him has a ceiling that LeBron uses as his floor. It's unreal.

You all know I don't like some of the things he gets away with. I feel that he gets to be a freight train when he goes to the hoop, lowering his shoulders and extending his elbows. He kinda acts like a running back when he attacks the hoop, and he's such a physical specimen that he moves people. I personally think LeBron could be called for 2-3 charges a game.

At the same time, Shaq was allowed to be a bowling ball, for some reason. Jordan couldn't be touched (which is funny, considering that Kobe, as the closest thing to Jordan from a same-position and style sense, could get mauled constantly at different times during his career because he was such a relentless attacker). Either way, to me it shrinks these players, even if they are undoubtedly the best players in the game. I think the special treatment really gets out of hand, at times, but it's become part of the NBA game.

This is relevant because the media scrutinizes these players much more, and due to that we're already inclined to dislike certain players, so the things they get away with are much more obvious. If LeBron played in a different time, without the media scrutiny, he may have already been considered the best the game has seen, at this point.

You saying "more athleticism" and then "faster" and "stronger" is redundant. That's like me saying for Michael

More clutch
Better late in games
Better at hitting game winning shots

Really not trying to argue too much but real quick, just to shut that shit down

Lebron is bigger and more athletic (I guess, but you act like MJ never was a beast athletically), but so what? Randy Moss is bigger and more athletic than Jerry Rice. But who's the GOAT?

Dumb argument

Edit: also, better 3 point shooter? MJ was 32% from 3 in his career, Lebron 34%. BIG DIFFERENCE. 3 point shooting doesn't matter anyway when you're talking GOAT. Not many of the top players of all time were that good from 3

Jordan had 50% (in 17 games) in 94-95, 43% in 95-96 and 37% in 96-97. He had some nice stretches from 3 himself

There is so many people that will never say lebron is better even if he beats all mjs records and has more rings just because they're so far on mjs dick at this point.

Jordan would take a lot more heat if he was in this social media age. People still hate LeBron over the decision. Could you imagine how much they'd hate MJ if they realized how big of an asshole he is.

Jordan shot more per game than bron, and yet James still has more points responsible per game (points scored+points from assists)

Tbh Jordan is more clutch, and is a better FT shooter slightly. That's really all I can give him over lebron
