Maybe.  He might be right, but another person would be perfectly justified to say that Hershiser has also seen Pedro Martinez, Roger Clemens and Randy Johnson in their primes and it may be a little soon to make that statement.  The fact that this conversation could even be had though, shows how incredible Kershaw is.

Addison Russell along with Kris Bryant, Jorge Soler, Albert Amora and Javier Baez are the Future for the cubs. but most likely one of them will be traded for a Starting pitcher.

They can deal him in the offseason if they'd like anyways. They have him for 1.5 years.
