Why don't we talk about anything except the Orioles in this thread?

Yeah, nothing new there. It's expected and predictable. Maybe if he wasn't the only Orioles fan on this forum, he wouldn't be so lonely. All he talks about is the Orioles, you'd think talking to yourself over and over again would get old after awhile so I understand his frustration.
Wise guy haha.

I guess I should root for them to make the playoffs though because this section will die if not

Someone tell him that pitchers are going to go up and inside on him since he's a beast and he should learn to dodge a bullet.

Man, that was terrible. I can't imagine having something like that coming at you at nearly 90 MPH, hitting you square in the jaw.

Feel awful for Stanton. I could only imagine how awful that hurts.

Cheato, wasn't Carrasco part of the Cliff Lee deal? He's been dirty.

He was.

Something seems to have clicked with him. He's always had a pretty nice four pitch mix, and his velocity is the highest it's ever been. Averaging 95.2 MPH on his fastball.

The Sabathia and Lee deals looked horrible for forever, but we got Brantley out of Sabathia and now Carrasco out of Lee, so at least there's something. Both were secondary pieces in the deals too lol.

I thought Laporta would turn into the next Thome lol.

Man, he was so bad. When I actually looked and watched his swing, I thought to myself, how could anyone with that swing be good? Turned out I was right.

Well, I guess that's why he's in Mexico now lel.

I guess it's not really horrible anymore since Brantley and Carlos pretty much hold more value than those two now.

I wouldn't jump the gun on Carrasco yet

He's never had a stretch like the current one, but he had a decent one in 2011 in the middle of the year, and I had thought he turned a corner, but I was wrong.

But his stuff has always been there, and actually is better now. Problem with him was mentally, and a little bit of location.

The BABIP number right now is somewhat sustainable though, which is a great sign.

I hated it then and I hate it now; fuck that VMart trade. I loved Masterson

Masterson is done, got a decent prospect for him though.

Hagadone is a decent reliever, all we have left from that deal.

I think I read Martinez wants to retire in Cleveland. Hopefully we target him and can actually afford to sign him this off-season. Could use a middle of the order bat and the Indians DH spot is vacant.
