When in doubt, make a poll.
on a site where out of everyone who watches baseball, 70% are Tigers fans, and the rest are Jays fans who hate the Red Sox, Clevelanders who hate the Red Sox, and then you, Baggs, and I

Asking here is not the best idea. Asking Reddit, however....

Nice to see Verlander pitching much better lately. Maybe it was just a mechanical issue.

Since you said Clevelanders, does that mean I'm more than one person?

And i dislike the Tigers more than the Red Sox. A lot more. I like Max though, a little more than Clay.

I remember in my English, I was the only one who said the Dickey trade wouldn't pan out, and it wasn't a smart move. I've never been a fan of trading prospects for guys in their late thirties. Felt the Jays could have gone after someone else.

Guess I was right.

Although Josh Johnson being this shit is kinda surprising.

JJ is damaged goods. Dickey has been improving lately, but when you have 3 of the worst hitters in the league in our lineup, you're in bad shape. Not to mention the pitching staff is worse than last year. Had the Jays kept their prospects the SP depth would look a lot better in 2014.
Morrow
Alvarez
Hutch
Nicolino
Stroman
Nolan
Syndergaard
Wochekowski
Sanchez
Drabek
thats a hell of a lot of young arms that you can fall back on. You could also use the increased pay roll by signing a FA arm or something. Heck you can even count romero to the depth chart. AA has done some good things but the negatives outweigh the positive.

Drabek hasn't exactly worked out either which was the major piece in the Halladay trade IIRC.

None of the players that he has drafted have panned out. The blue chippers that the Jays have been acquired via trade or drafted by J.P (i.e D'Arnaud, Jake etc)

Jacoby Ellsbury is 36 of 39 on stolen bases this year. Good for 92.3%.

Pretty fucking good.
