27th overall and he grew up a yankee fan. must have been hard to pass it up. Not like he was a 10th rounder

Dodgers are about to be 2.5 back lmao
We were 9.5 back last sunday. Absolutely incredible. I was hoping to be 4 or 5 back by the break but we actually be in 1st

Unbelievable. I chose not to go see World War Z tonight so I could watch Harvey pitch -- game is in a rain delay.

It was good while it lasted, Jays. This shit sucks. Going all in with zero pitching depth is unacceptable. They're fucked long term.

go figure. we actually give Harvey two runs for once and he gives up a 3 run shot.

The fact the Tigers don't have one of the best records in the MLB is quite mind boggling to me.

3rd in runs in the AL. 1st in BA. One of the best starting pitching staffs in the league.

Bullpen really is that bad.
I think outside of Smyly, our bullpen is a combined 2-7. That would explain it lol.

13-0
Scherzer is unbeaten with 4 ND and a 3.09ERA, while Clay is unbeaten with 3 ND and a 1.71 ERA

And Clay has a better FIP too

Scherzer has a lower xFIP, WHIP, tERA, SIERA, and a higher K/BB ratio.

Not to mention Buchholtz can't even stay healthy.

FIP>xFIP imo, not anything to do with this situation I just believe its the better stat

tERA and SIERA are like 45% based off strikeouts, so using 3 stats to say "Scherzer strikes out more guys" is very redundant.

Way I see it is Buchholz has the ERA ground, Scherzer has the WHIP ground. Both very good pitchers (although Max does have the #1 offense to assist him)

I was just saying Scherzer is not >>>> Clay at all. They are pretty much equal, and I'd personally take the 1.71ERA+6.8K/game guy over the 3.09ERA+8.2K/game guy
