Boston didn't even make it to the conference finals that year.
skipped a year mentally, was thinking 09-10.

I guess people doubted if they could get a ring without Shaq, since they lost the year before. Idk, I wrote it last year

Cause they got knocked out by the Mavs, a championship less team, much like Pacers. Both have a conference title as well.
edit: I'm so slow on my phone.
its still, how does that make it any different than Brooklyn? In fact, if anything, Brooklyn makes more sense than Indy

Nets get 4 or 5 seed (Indy most likely is a 2 or 3), and the Nets beat the 1 seeded Heat in Rd 2, and then win it all.

Sweeps defending champs in 2nd round, Jason Kidd leads franchise to 1st NBA Championship

one one hand i respect the spurs and love manu so too bad for them

on the other hand, i LOVE seeing Bron  silence the haters and win, especially because i think he's better than MJ. MJ just had a little extra venom, but bron was pretty great last night. the fact he left the headband off was very cool and was a message that i loved

Apparently this really is a fact now.
anyone picking the spurs is simply going with their hearts, not their heads

The Heat just fuck with their opponents.  How else could you explain them turning on the switch like that at any given moment?  10 point lead at the start of the 4th quarter was gone in about 2 minutes.  5 point lead in under 20 seconds meant nothing.

I have yet to figure out how they control which way the ball bounces, but still... magic light switch.

It'll probably be close through 3 quarters until Miami goes on one of those runs and rides to the championship.

I think a healthy Pacers team would beat a healthy Bulls team. Their pieces are just better, with the exception of Rose, obviously. Noah and Hibbert is up in the air but otherwise, the Pacers have better pieces.

A healthy Bulls team clinched the top seed in the eastern conference two years in a row, and beat that Pacers team in 5 a couple of years ago.  The only difference between this team and that team is Asik.

Derrick Rose owns the Pacers.

yeah, Noah-Gibson-Deng-Butler-DRose beats the Pacers easy

I guess people forgot how good Derrick Rose was pre-injury

Or people forget how much depth in the front court the Bulls have to go with it.

That team isn't even close to being a one man show.

You guys are also forgetting that Hibbert is immune to fouls now though.

What is, like, the most prominent shot in a Finals Game 7? Where you have the classic dream like situation, one shot - lose it all or win it all?
