Some guy on HangTime said that Dwight would thrive more in a smaller city like Houston with a less chaotic environment lol. Houston's only the fourth largest city in the country, with a pretty rabid fanbase and a tradition of great centers.

The thing I am confused about, I've heard Dwight doesn't like D'Antoni's system. But how is the style of play Houston plays really any different?

It really isn't but McHale doesn't seem as stubborn. Plus he's a big guy himself, he'll know how to satisfy Howard. that came out wrong

It isn't. Plus either way he'll have to play with a ball dominant SG.

The difference is McHale running it because of his players, Mike running it despite of them. McHale would adapt I think.

He should play in Boston if he wants to be "the guy"

My reasoning:
GS is Steph Curry, LA is Kobe, HOU is Harden. Those are guys you want with the ball as much as possible.

That leaves Dallas, Atlanta, and my 0.000000000001% Celtics. Rondo is perfect for Dwight; he will get him the ball. And Jeff Green is a great kick out option for Dwight, if he needs SOME help scoring. Dallas nor Atlanta have the PGs like Boston. Both points are rookies, actually. And while they both have cap space, there aren't good PGs available. So yes, Howard can pair with oldman Dirk, or ballhog Smoove in ATL, but Boston is his place if he wants to be "the guy", moreso than Houston, which is still going to be Harden's team

Of course Dwight said no to the C's already, so this is just moot, but still, I need to talk about my celtics in a non-"we are gonna tank but still get the 8 seed Celts"

@WojYahooNBA: Portland is a possible destination for center Robin Lopez, with Indiana and others on a short list in pursuit.

Mchale pitched that they'd alter the offense to work around him.

Billups might come back to Detroit. Probably will be our biggest FA acquisition this offseason.

But really, would love to have him end his career here. Would be MUCH more favorable than Bynum or Calderon.

Pistons are pathetic.

Josh Smith? Nope.
Andre Iguodala? Nope.
Tyreke Evans? Nope.
Rudy Gay? Nope.
Rajon Rondo? Nope.

Plan of attack this offseason is spend a few hours pursuing one guy, not wowing/trying hard enough, then give up and move on to the next guy.
We will bring back Jose, sign some other scrubs, then hear Dumars talk about how "he tried really hard but the fit wasn't right." Absolutely pathetic.
