This idea that NBA franchises want to lose is so idiotic and overdone.

Not to mention HIGHLY unrealistic, in terms of the Pels losing to keep their pick.

I don't think its possible for players to want to lose. If you do get the fuck off my team. I'm a competitive person so I can't picture any team trying to lose.

players dont lose on purpose

look at the lakers, they are all on one year deals and a few are fighting for their NBA careers

GMs and coaches however

Philly is blatantly tanking and man, sometimes Boston does stuff at the end of games that makes you scratch your head
the 40/20 AD game nola. pels were up 1 and with a few seconds left, Boston wasnt fouling? uh

the dubs a few years ago were so obviously tanking too when they needed to get the 7th pick or whatever. the one they used on Barnes

they were sitting the entire team for like a month, and it eventually worked because they kept their pick

but players definitely are trying to lose on purpose. you shoulda seen philly the other day when they thought MCW hit a game winner and it rattled out

Agreed 100%. But if I'm Pels management I'm trying to lose to keep that pick. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way

If your top players know you're purposely attempting to lose, why would they want to stay? They don't care about draft position. You can put your team in a position that doesn't make it easy to suceed, but there's only so much you can do.

Pels management obviously doesn't feel that way, and they shouldn't feel that way. Losing mentality breeds more losing. There are a numbers of teams in the league right now that are in the high lottery season after season, but yet they don't really seem to be making any strides. Either way though, once again, when you made that comment there were probably fifteen games left and more than six games back. That may not be mathematically impossible, but it's damn close. Misinformed and uneducated.

Adam Silver said he will revisit the issue of sleeved jerseys and plans to meet with LeBron James at the end of the season to discuss the matter.

The NBA could decide to eliminate sleeves altogether or leave it up to individual teams to decide.

"Ultimately, if the players don't like them, we'll move on to something else," Silver told Bleacher Report. "I don't regret doing it for this season. But it's intended to be something fun for the fans and the players. And if it becomes a serious issue, as to whether players should be wearing sleeves, we'll likely move onto other things."

Through March 20, teams were shooting .456 from the field while wearing the sleeved jerseys, according to the league. Those same teams produced a .461 field-goal percentage in games played with their regular, tank-top jerseys.

leaving it up to the team is actually a good idea.

Cuban is right about the NFL dying eventually
Maybe not 10 years like he said, but it will die down

Before you think nonsense, just remember, horse racing and boxing used to be huge really not that long ago

"I think the NFL is 10 years away from an implosion," Cuban said. "When pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. And they're getting hoggy. When you try to take it too far, people turn the other way. I'm just telling you, when you got a good thing and you get greedy, it always, always, always, always, always turns against you."
