I'm not sure if this is Nets bias or not, but I disagree. I think Mason will be the better pro but Miles has clearly benefited from his extra year in the league. Mason's offensive game has always been superior but Miles is a much better defender and rebounder.

Celtics will not deal Rondo to Detroit without getting those bigs, 100%. Unless its like Rondo+Wallace's contract for Jennings+expirings+multiple picks, which i doubt you do as well, Rondo isnt in DET unless Monroe or Drummond is a Celt

After watching a lot of the Pistons early on in the season, I'm at the point where I think the Pistons have to move Greg Monroe. I know yall will probably say he's having a good season at 16 and 9, but the truth is he's having his worst season as a pro. And a lot of it has to do with he just can't play with Smith and Drummond. The Pistons are the worst defensive team in the league so far, and their problems fall on more shoulders than just Greg Monroe (Jennings is a bad perimeter defender, Smith is lazy, Drummond isn't the player he was last year facing backups, etc) but he just can't play with Smith and Drummond. He's not a 4, he's a 5. He's wayyyyyyy to slow.

The biggest problem I see, is that Mo Cheeks is taking players out of their comfort zones (he's basically being forced to do this), Josh Smith was used to switching on screens in Atlanta but you can't do that with Detroits backcourt, Greg Monroe is being taken away from the rim, and Drummond (while he is averaging 12 and 12) is still very raw.

i totally agree. i said last year before we signed smoove that drummond and gmoe do NOT fit what so ever.

it sucks because if they did mesh well they'd be a great tandem bit they don't and never will, and greg wont ever be the go to big man we would need him to be. its not his personality. hes better suited a small a third option.
