That's like saying winning is irrelevant and we should just go off stats to determine who the best players are. I guess Cousins is the best center in the NBA then?

Goes both ways. You have to be smart enough to judge the impact of a particular player on your own. Teammates have a lot of influence on a teams record, believe it or not. Does Griffin's team going 4-0 and Davis' New Orleans team going 2-2 automatically mean that Griffin had a bigger individual impact on the game?

I also had the numbers wrong:
Griffin: 27 points, 9.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.5 steals
Davis: 35 points, 13.3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 3 blocks

The Clippers didn't lose. The Pelicans' games are meaningless at this point. They WANT to lose. Gotta factor that in too.

They want to lose? People on this board really enjoy talking out of their asses without any real insight or data to back up their claims.

Probably because a lot of us don't have time to study basketball like fucking clockwork.

Has little to do with time you have and more to do with common sense and just not being an idiot.

They want to lose? Come the fuck on.

Jeff Green had 39 last night, and 5 tonight.

Very Jeff Green like.

I like him, but he's so damn hot cold. I don't know of anyone else who could go for 40 one game then go for 5 the next one, and do it on a couple of different occasions.

I am so excited that we are going to get the 7-8 seed and lose in 5 games instead of missing the playoffs and keeping our top 20 protected pick

He can't be a top option. That's why we need another scorer if green is in our future

Team success and teammates do go a long way in figuring how good a player is, but subjectivity and the eye ball test do as well.  To me, in my opinion, I have a lot of respect for the strides Blake Griffin has made this year, strides many people gave up believing he could make, but Anthony Davis is a top 10 player in the NBA right now.

I'd trade the entire Pistons roster not named Andre for Faried and put Drummond and Faried together.  Then I'd just try to draft/sign a couple wings and a point who play hard and crush people.
