I find it funny to see Rubio, MKG and AFA mentioned in a post like that.  All of those guys were heavily scrutinized as high lotto picks and eventually drafted as high lotto picks (AFA was 8, maybe not technically "high"), and the biggest knock on all of them was no J, no offensive versatility.  And look what's happened to them now.  Still no J, no jumpshot at all.

It's almost like teams think "well if we just draft this guy, with his crazy athleticism and size, if we can just develop a jumpshot in him, he'll be so great".  Not the way it works.  Being able to have a good jumpshot is something that is natural, it's part of the DNA.  It's like playing the guitar.  You're either born with the propensity to be good at it, or your not.  It's not like learning a second language where you can just smash your face in it and eventually get it.

So the bench coach does not turn Al-Farouq Aminu into Clyde Drexler by working on his jumper.  I find it hilarious that he's so bad so far into his career.
Disagree on both the jumper and the guitar. With that said some people have too big hands to shoot a basketball well. It's taken Rondo like ten years to figure this out haha.

BTW, that little review I did earlier with the Pels and Kings. The Kings ran the same set on all three of their half court possessions in less than two minutes, and they scored buckets in each of those possessions. That Pels defense.

I absolutely LOVE when Ajinca and Stiemsma get into foul trouble and it forces Monty into actually playing the better player in Jeff Withey.

Darren Collison is a really nice player. Great pick up by LAC to replace Bledsoe

He is. For whatever reason though, he can't be a permanent starter. He can start in spurts for you, but he won't be successful as a starter for 82 games. I guess if some guys are better as starters, it's possible some are better coming off the bench.

Wait did that LeBron James shot off the glass at the end of the third quarter count?

Because they showed the highlight on SportsCenter and totally acted like it counted lmao.

I know yall probably won't agree, but I see no reason to think AD won't have a swingman's type of perimeter game in his prime.

I wouldn't go that far but he's clearly got really good touch for a big man (was a guard in HS at one point IIRC, might be thinking of someone else)

You're correct. I just watch him and see the things he does. At 20 years old he's already putting the ball on the floor and finishing at the rim, knocking down pull up jumpers, he seems to have 3pt range. Just incredible.

AD is shooting 41.3% on 62 pullup attempts this season, btw.

Tyreke is now averaging 22 pts, 8 rbs, and 7 asts as a starter too.

Who would have thought that your franchise C is the one who should be taking threes, not the SG you just gave a ridiculous contract to
