Wouldn't be a Grizzlies game without Tony Allen blowing an easy lay up

I said it in the Kyrie thread, but man, Hawes is such a perfect fit for this team. He is going to fall off eventually, but he's exactly what we needed. If nothing else, its showing management they need to surround Kyrie with shooters this off-season.

Anyone remember the AD/Drummond debates?
Drummond is the better low post center

AD has been improving however. He would be better if he had a legitimate coach though. Like he is nailing those pull-up jumpers, but he shouldn't even be taking them.

He would be killing it in Stevens' system though.

Get the Kentucky Anthony Davis out of your head. Outside of pull up 32 footers or something, there is nothing Anthony Davis shouldn't be doing.

I'm saying he shouldn't be taking them because he's a 7' center, not that he can't.

You guys need to get a bruiser down low to play C. Davis is playing C when he should be a PF, 100%.

I'm also not entirely sure what you mean by "low post center." When I hear that, I think of an offensive center playing down low in the post, which Drummond obviously isn't. If you're talking defensively, AD has the edge on that as well. AD's opponents shoot 3.1% worse at then when teams challenge Drummond at the rim. AD obviously blocks more shots, but also fouls less. And he defends the post better than Drummond, but ever so slightly.

What the fuck is wrong with these officials in LA? AD can't make any contact what so ever or it is called a foul. With the way LA defenders are flying across the floor after contact I have to wonder if AD put on 50 lbs overnight.

4 fouls in 10 minutes. Yet Griffin is trucking people and flopping all over the place and he has only 1.

Don't be an idiot.
Seems as stupid as comments claiming Kyrie Irving is a career loser mid way through his 3rd season

We'll see how the Pelicans are next year and if I can start writing my columns speculating his departure.

its easier to call a point guard a loser when his play is more for himself. you don't see the power forward setting up the offense.
