Hahah love me some Manny. Wish he would've stayed in college though his senior year. He needed a little more seasoning, probably would've been able to stick around as a rotation guy.

Same with Darius Morris.

Well I knew it from college, but can already tell Burke is going to be a very good player in this league.

I'm not, as far as I'm concerned Burke is 2x the player KCP is, and Burke still has more potential.

I like KCP, but he is never going to be anything more than 3&D, and that is if he gets his shot going ever, because he is way to streaky of a shooter to consistently knock down 3's.

IDGAF about Knight, could've cut him for all I care. Burke should be the starting PG of this team, and we should've built around Burke, Monroe, and Drummond. And I would've thrown tons of money at Iggy to make him sign here.

Burke is going to be a All-Star, quote that. KCP is going to be an asset, maybe.

and we'd be no better.
We'd have a direction at least. Only thing we would be missing would be a SG. Whereas now we have 0 direction, and have to move a player we won't get a fair return for.

He is, and since we can't trade him we will have to move the superior player in Monroe to create space for him. Which we certainly wont get fair return for.

And Cheeks doesn't know how to formulate a lineup to accommodate.

rip, i totally agree with everything you said, but, we needed to draft with what we had. it sucked but it needed to be done like that.

this team is still in shambles and is stuck like this for awhile.

I've always believed the Pelicans signed Tyreke Evans with the intention of eventually moving Eric Gordon and expanding Tyreke's role. I wonder if the same thing happened with Detroit, they signed Smith, and they have tried to make it work at the three, but they knew it wouldn't work and would eventually move Monroe, then move Smith back to his more natural four spot.
