Anyways, I'm just giving CC a hard time.

You've probably heard about 35-year old Kobe Bryant's new $48.5 million contract, but did you know a 30-year old former NBA All-Star is raking in just $25k?

According to Yahoo! Sports, Josh Howard makes 40% less than the average garbage man by playing for the Austin Toros in the NBA Developmental League.

Injuries have put the small forward's once-promising career on hold, as he's torn both ACLs and ripped up the meniscus in his left knee. He's finally healthy, though, and trying to prove he can still play at a high level.

Now before you cry the former Dallas Maverick a river, keep this in mind: He used to make $10 million per year as part of a $40 million contract, and says he invested well thanks to taking advice from his former team's owner, Mark Cuban.

Once again, that makes no sense. Who gives a flying fuck? You really seem to suspend any sense you have when you start these arguments. Players getting to the FT line is something you want, because teams generate more points per possession from the ft line than they do on a given possession. I hope I don't have to explain the importance of getting to the line to you, it's something teams place a high priority on. Most teams probably want to score a little under a point per possession a game. You get to the FT line in 15 possessions, and generate 23 pts from the ft line, that's 1.5 pts per possession. The leading team in points per possession in the NBA right now is scoring just 1.1 pts per possession. It directly correlates that the teams that get to the ft line the most are also the best offensive teams in the league.

Tyreke averaged 1.8 points per shot last night, that's an amazing number. He averaged 1.2 points per play, which is very good. As opposed to Knight who averaged 1.1 points per shot, and 1 point per play.

You're ridiculous. You cant value a shot attempt and a free throw attempt to be worth the same.

Evans took 14 shots, and made 7 shots worth 14 points. Thats 1.00point per shot
Knight took 23 shots, and made 11 worth 24 points. Thats 1.04 points per shot.

free throws help get the rest of the team to the line, too. getting to the line is one of the most important parts of the game. gets defenders out of the game and add a another part to the offense while weakining the defense in multiple ways.

FTs are definitely huge, but having a free throw attempt be the same as a dunk and as a 3pt shot is stupid.

That's not how it works. But if you want to believe that, then go ahead. No point in arguing with someone who doesn't know what they're talking about.

He may have a bad shooting night every so often, and suffer defensively, but I just want to say I absolutely love Brandon Jennings.

Hedo Turkoglu - G/F - Magic

The Magic intend to waive or trade Hedo Turkoglu by January 7.

Turkoglu isn't part of Orlando's plans and if they waive him by the 7th they'll only owe him $6 million of his $12 million salary. It's possible that some team will eventually give him a minimum contract for the rest of the season once he clears waivers

Forgot about turk
